    CENTAC releases MD, MS fee structure at IGMCRI; Details

    CENTAC releases MD, MS fee structure at IGMCRI; Details

    Puducherry: The Centralised Admission Committee (CENTAC), Puducherry has released the fee structure for MD and MS courses for the academic year 2020-21 at Indira Gandhi Medical College and Research Institute (IGMCRI).

    IGMCRI offers 6 PG medical courses MD Anatomy, MD Microbiology, MD Pathology, MD Community Medicine, MS ENT and MS Obstetrics and Gynaecology.

    Following are the seat distribution details for the aforementioned courses:

    1. MD-Anatomy

    (i) 1 seat- (plus any other unfilled seat from other quota will be filled by UT of Puducherry candidates)

    (ii) All lndia Quota 1 seat

    2. MD-Microbiology

    (i) 2 seats -(plus any other unfilled seats from other quota will be filled by UT of Puducherry candidates)

    (ii) All lndia Quota 2 seats

    3.MD-Pathology

    (i) 1 seat -(plus any other unfilled seat from other quota will be filled by UT of Puducherry candidates)

    (ii) All lndia Quota 1 seat

    4.MD-Community Medicine

    (i) 2 seats -(plus any other unfilled seats from other quota will be filled by UT of Puducherry candidates)

    (ii) All lndia Quota 2 seats

    5, MS-ENT

    (i) 1 seat -(plus any other unfilled seats from other quota will be filled by UT of Puducherry candidates)

    (ii) All lndia Quota 1 seat

    6. MS- Obstetrics and Gynaecology

    (i) 2 seats -(plus any other unfilled seats from other quota will be filled by UT of Puducherry candidates)

    (ii) All lndia Quota 1 seat.

    for EWS Quota subject to increase in seats approved and allotted bythe Medical Council of lndia, New Delhi.

    Joint declaration in the format available with the institute should be furnished by the candidate and parent / guardian at the time of admission.

    Fee Structure for students intending to take PG medical admission in IGMCRI.

    5. (A). College Fees:

    Caution Deposit ( Refundable): Rs 25000/-

    Admission fees (at the time of admission only): Rs 50000/-

    Academic fees (Annual) : Rs 33000/-

    Learning Resource fee (Annual) : Rs 44000/-

    Establishment Charges(Annual): Rs: 33000/-

    Grand Total: 1,85,000

    (B). Hostel Fees:

    Caution Deposit(refundable): Rs10000/-

    Room Rent (per month): Rs 4,000

    The above fees structures is subject to change

    Room Rent {4,000/- (per month) shall be deducted from the Stipend amount payable to the respective P.G. Student.

    lf a student vacates the hostel during the academic year, rent will be deducted on pro-rata monthly basis.

    6. if a PG discontinues the course on or before the last date of counselling of the respective academic year of admission, only the caution deposit paid at the time of admission will be refunded to him/her. ln case the candidate leaves the course after the last date of admission or during any other subsequent academic years, he/she shall pay a sum of (10 Lakhs as penalty for which a bond has to be signed.

    7. Upon completion of the course, only the caution deposit shall be refunded when the candidate gets relieved from the institute.

    8. Registration fee, Recognition fee, University development fee' Examination fee and any other fees at may be levied by the University shall be payable at the rate as prescribed by the Pondicherry University' within the stipulated time.

    In Addition, the CENTAC has also released the agreement bond format for candidates admitted in the medical college for this year's PG academic session.
