Shocking: MCC Retracts NEET PG First Seat Allotment List due to Technical Glitch
New Delhi: The counseling for NEET PG 2018 almost turned into a mockery yesterday, when the MCC first uploaded the list of candidates who had been allotted a seat in the first counselling for NEET PG qualified students, only to soon retract it later. The reasoning highlighted by the authority was technical glitch, but it soon led to angry students venting their anger on social media calling the carelessness shown by the authorities regarding their career.

The counseling list was published on the official website on March 28, 2018, afternoon. MCC in a notice published on the official website, that the list published yesterday stands 'null and void'. MCC will announce the fresh allotment list soon on the official website. The committee has also extended the last date of reporting to April 5, 2018.

" Due to inadvertent/technical mistake. Result published today (afternoon) may be treated as null and void. Fresh result will be updated soon on the website. All the candidates are advised to be in touch with the
mcc website! Last Date of Reporting has been extended to 5th April 2018. "
    said the notice

UPDATE -Revised Result is likely to be published after 2PM Today, states the MCC Website

The move indeed had angry students taking to twitter calling on the authorities and the callousness when it comes to the career of a doctor. Here are some of the responses

@JPNadda @MoHFW_INDIA Entire #NEETPG has become a big joke. 1st the delayed ranks, then the issue with doc verification, then counseling website issues even after paying 2 lakhs for it, then the counseling results are declared null and void. Playing with doctors' lives. pic.twitter.com/y6dcBEEHdR

    #NEETPG #MCC
Even porn websites have a million users every minute and nothing happens . Hardly 10k - 20k people would try to login and none succeeds. Where is our money for registration being used ? Clearing exams is not a big headache , the real shit is counseling.

#CBSEPaperLeak and now NEET PG admission list is declared null and void. Even after taking over ₹30,000, Gov't authorities couldn't do a simple task. Wonder where all that money is spent pic.twitter.com/1YCfNeSYFG
