SC asks Private managements to revert to the HC on PG quota fee hike issues

Hyderabad: The Supreme Court on Wednesday refused to impose a stay on the order of the High Court which granted a stay on the government order issued by the Telangana government announcing a fee hike for the convenor and management quota seats for post-graduate medical admissions in the state.

The bench clarified that the final decision would be dependent on the PIL filed by the Healthcare Reforms Doctors’ Association and Osmania Junior Doctors’ Association. The managements of Private medical and dental colleges saddened by the decision the private medical and dental college managements had moved the apex court for relief.

On hearing both the sides the bench asked the petitioners to raise their pleadings before the High Court.

The vacate stay petition by the private college managements against stay of GO will come up for hearing on Thursday before the bench of Justice P Naveen Rao and Justice MSK Jaiswal reports the TNIE .
