PM Modi's hometown Vadnagar gets a new medical college
Gandhinagar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Home town Vadnagar in Mehsana has received its biggest gift from him in the form of a new hospital and Medical College, established at the cost of Rs 450 crores. The Prime Minister in all likelihood will inaugurate the medical institution in September,when he visits the town on his 68th Birthday on September 17.
Admissions for the first academic session to the college have taken place and the institution is all set to start its session from July-end or August beginning.
The PMO is understood to have interevened in getting all the Medical Council sanctions to facilitate its start reports TOI.
