Pilibhit to get Medical college announces UP CM
Pilibhit: The town of Pilibhit is soon going to get a medical college as the UP government has moved up the proposal in this regard
Confirmation to this effect was recently Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath who confirmed that the proposal to open a medical college in Pilibhit has been forwarded and it will be opened here soon.
It is reported that the land for the purpose of the medical college is currently being finalised and soon development will begin to start the medical college
The first announcement for establishment of a medical college in the area was made in July 2019, when the government announced the establishment of 15 medical colleges under Central government’s ‘establishment of new medical colleges attached with existing district or referral hospitals’.

Following a shortage of doctors and medical amenities in the rural areas, the UP government has sent a proposal for new medical colleges in the state and emphasised on at least one such college between two districts.
Speaking at an event here Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath added that the situation would not have been so bad if the previous governments had worked for the public welfare.
