PGMET 2016 Results Declared
Hyderabad:The Result of the Post-Graduate Medical Entrance Test (PGMET) 2016 conducted by NTR University of Health Sciences (NTRUHS) for admission to colleges across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana were announced on Monday by Health Minister Kamineni Srinivas. Candidates can check their results on the official websites of the NTRUHS.
The test was conducted at 55 centres in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana on February 28. A strength of 13,252 sat for the exam and 8,658 cleared it.
Andhra Pradesh and Telangana colleges have 2,533 P.G. seats, including 1,873 , 660 under the Convener and Disposal of Managements quota respectively, by The Hindu
The top nine positions out of 10 were bagged by students of the state of Andhra Pradesh. Chunduri Venkata Viswa Vikranth (AMC, Visakhapatnam), Sumanth Koppolu (Guntur Medical College), and Akella Sarala Divya (AMC) achieved 1st, 2nd and 3rd ranks with 165, 162, and 160 marks respectively in the PGMET entrance test for the year 2016.
Prabhu Kiran Vanka (Rangaraya Medical College, Kakinada), Kamisetty Viswanath (AMC), G. Jyotsna Pavani (AMC), S. Sai Pratap Reddy (Kurnool Medical College), S. Ramya Veni (Gandhi Medical College, Secunderabad), Bobbili Ravi Kishore (AMC), and K. Bhanu Prasad (Pinnamaneni Siddhartha Institute of Medical Sciences, Vijayawada) secured the 4th to 10th ranks.
