    PGIMER: Entrance Exam schedule for PhD, PGDPHM, MSc Courses July 2019 POSTPONED, Details

    Chandigarh: Through a recent notification, Post Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER Chandigarh) has informed about the Rescheduling /Postponing of PhD, PGDPHM, MSc Courses and MSc, MLT courses exam July session 2019.


    The notice uploaded on the official website of PGI Chandigarh, clearly states, "It is for the information of applicants that the entrance examination of PhD/PGDPHM/M.Sc & M.Sc Medical Laboratory Technology courses, which was scheduled to be held on 07.07.2019 is hereby postponed to 14.07.2019."


    Candidates who are intending to opt PhD, PGDPHM, MSc Courses and MSc, MLT courses, can update themselves with the entrance examination schedule mentioned below.

    The Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) Chandigarh was conceived in 1960 as a centre of excellence which would endeavour to develop patterns of teaching in postgraduate medical education in as many branches as possible and attempt to produce specialists in several disciplines of medicine. It was also envisaged that these specialists would spread out in the country in various medical colleges and medical institutions and impart medical education of highest standard to the students and set up nucleus of excellence in their own institutions.


    Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh was mandated to provide high quality Patient care, attain self-sufficiency in postgraduate medical education and to meet the country's need for highly qualified medical teachers in all medical and surgical disciplines,provide educational facilities for the training of personnel in all important branches of health activity and undertake basic community based research.
