PG Medical Admissions in Gujarat: Check out important dates, Instructions for Spot Counselling

Gujarat: The Admission Committee for Professional Postgraduate Medical Education Courses (ACPPGMEC), Gandhinagar has released the important dates and list of Instructions for PG medical candidates who are intending to appear for spot counselling MD/MS Diploma Courses.

All the candidates, who are eligible after lowering of qualifying percentiles and revised cut-off scores in NEET-PG 2019 (as per letter by National Board of Examinations, dated 8th May 2019), are eligible to participate in the Spot Admission Counseling.

To participate in the Spot Admission Counseling, the candidates have to submit the filled Application form along with a self-attested photocopy of required documents (as mentioned below) and Demand Draft of Rs.2000/- in favour of ‘ACPUGMEC’ payable at Gandhinagar, Gujarat at Auditorium, Opp. New OPD Building, Civil Hospital, GMERS Medical College Campus, Sector – 12, Gandhinagar–382016, between 10.00 am to 12.00 noon on 15.05.2019.

a) All MBBS mark sheets.

b) 12 months internship completion certificate.

c) NEET-PG-2019 Marksheet.

d) Provisional/Permanent Registration of State Medical Council OR Medical Council of India.

e) Document showing place of birth & Date of Birth & Indian Citizenship (School Leaving Certificate/Transfer Certificate/ Passport/ Birth Certificate).

f) For SEBC, ST and SC Category: Cast certificate issued by Competent Authorities of Gujarat State only.

g) For SEBC Category: Non-creamy layer certificate (Parishistha ‘4’ in Gujarati/English) issued by competent Authorities of Gujarat State only dated on or after 01/04/2016.

h) For EWS (Economically Weaker Sections) Category: EWS certificate issued by Competent Authorities of Gujarat State only.

i) Copy of Passport - if Citizenship is Dual/ Foreign.

Instructions

All the candidates are instructed to see the number of vacant seats available for Spot Admission Counseling.

The candidates will be called and allotted the admission as per the general merit rank.

Authority Letter or Proxy will NOT be allowed for taking admission in Spot Admission Counseling.

The candidate, without original documents and prescribed fees, will not be granted admission under any circumstances.

The candidate has to pay tuition fees of one term (six months) by cash / Demand Draft in favour of “ACPUGMEC” payable at Gandhinagar at bank facility provided by Admission Committee, immediately.

The candidate is required to bring the following original documents at the time of counselling.

a) All MBBS mark sheets.

b) 12 months internship completion certificate.

c) NEET-PG-2019 Marksheet.

d) Provisional/Permanent Registration of State Medical Council OR Medical Council of India.
