    PG Medical Admissions 2019: WBUHS issues notice regarding Round 2 Counselling Results, Details

    West Bengal: The West Bengal University of Health Sciences (WBUHS) has postponed the publication of the results of Round 2 Neet PG / MDS 2019 Counselling.


    The information to this effect comes via a recent notice uploaded on the official website of WBUHS which clearly states,




    In terms of the order of Hon'ble Calcutta High Court in W.p. 8990 [W) of 201,9 dt. 01.05.2019 publication of the result of round 2 NEET PG / MDS 201.9 Counseling is postponed.



    The candidates who intend to surrender the seats after admission in Round 1 PG medical or dental counselling that they can do so without penalty by personally appearing at the admitted institute for the surrender of seats from 2nd May 2019 to 4th May 2019.


    The candidate has to personally appear at the admitted institute for the surrender of seats from 2nd May 2019 to 4th May 2019.


    The candidates surrender their seats between 2nd May 2019 to 4 th May 2019 will not be able to participate in the round – 2 of Counseling.


    WBUHS had earlier informed about the details regarding, candidates participating in Round 2 counselling for NEET PG / NEET MDS, 2019.


    The published Seat Matrix of Round 2 state quota seats consists of the following:


    1. Returned A I Q seats to the state quota
    2. Newly added state quota seats in Round 2
    3. Vacant State Quota Seats of Round 1 (Un-allotted seats + Non-admitted seats + Surrendered Seats)


    From 2003 the University took up the responsibility of Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Post-doctoral courses including the Ph. D programme in Modern System of Medicine, Homoeopathic System of Medicine, Ayurvedic System of Medicine, Unani System of Medicine, Nursing Education, Pharmacy Education, Dental Education, Physiotherapy, Speech Therapy and Education on other paramedical courses like Occupational Therapy and Prosthetics-Orthotics in the state of West Bengal.
