PG AYUSH Admissions: AACCC modifies counselling schedule, scheme, eligibility criteria for Round 3
New Delhi: The AYUSH Admissions Central Counseling Committee (AACCC) has modified the counselling scheme and schedule along with the eligibility of Round 3 (Mop-Up Round) for candidates who are vying for admission to PG Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani and Homoeopathy courses.
The notifications informing about this effect clearly state the following:
"It is for the information to all AIAPGET-2019 qualified candidates participating in the PG Counselling 2019 that Counseling Scheme of PG Counseling has been modified and same is available on Counseling Website along with revised Counseling schedule. It is informed that vacant all India quota seats of Government Colleges, Govt Aided Colleges & Private Colleges after Round 2, will also be included for 03rd Round/Mop-up Round."
Further, candidates admitted in Round 1 and Round 2 will be allowed to upgrade for 03rd Round/Mop-up Round of all India quota Counseling, however, students admitted in Round 2 and Round 3 (Mop-up Round) of all India quota counseling will not be allowed to vacate/exit their admitted seats and also not allowed to participate in further State counseling, the notice adds.
Conversion of seats reserved for the persons with disabilities in a particular category remained unfilled on account of unavailability of candidates in the respective category in case of the Government Colleges and Govt. Aided Colleges will be carried out during the allotment of 03rd Round (Mop-Up Round). Other conditions of the Counseling Scheme will be same.
On the modification of eligibility for participating in the 03rd Round (Mop-up Round), the AACCC notice states,
It is for information to all AIAPGET-2019 qualified candidates participating in AYUSH PG Counseling that eligibility for participating in the 03rd Round (Mop-up Round) has been changed as follows:
Eligible for 03rd Round/Mop Up round:
a) Candidates, who are registering for the first time.
b) Candidates, who have registered but not been allotted a seat in Round-1 & Round2.
c) All candidates admitted in Round 1 and Round 2, who have given willingness for up gradation.
Candidates who are vying for admission to PG Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani and Homoeopathy courses; can requested to view the schedule and scheme of online counselling as uploaded on the official website of AACCC mentioned below:

All AIAPGET qualified candidates aspiring to take admission in Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani and Homoeopathy Post-graduate courses are requested to visit the website "www.aaccc.gov.in" and "www.ayush.gov.in" time to time for updated information regarding AYUSH Medical Counseling.
