Online evaluation of answer sheets to be introduced in Andhra medical college

Andhra Medical College as well as Maharajah Institute of Medical Sciences in Vizianagaram have been advised to prepare themselves to conduct online evaluation of their post graduation examination answer sheets .

The serious intent on part of the University was evident from the fact that the Vice-Chancellor of NTR University of Health Sciences T. Raviraju had a meeting with Principal of AMC , MR. S.V. Kumar, along with the Principal of MIMS Ch. Lakshmi Kumar at AMC here on Tuesday. reports Hindu

Another important issue besides digital evaluation of exam sheets that was discussed was a project for training medical teachers in AP being taken up in collaboration with the Harvard University and the strengthening of e-library facility to the medical colleges. This being part of an MoU the university has signed with Elsevier.

Andhra Medical College, Visakhapatnam is one among the oldest medical colleges in India, First in the state of Andhra Pradesh.Ever since the college came into being in 1923. The college began to acquire National attention as a center of higher learning in medical education.Under the first principal ship of Captain F.J. Anderson 32 students were admitted as the first batch of Medical School, affiliated to Madras University and under the current principal Dr C.V. Rao There AMC is admitting 150 Under graduate students , 164 Post graduate students and 8 Super specialty students along with many paramedical courses under NTR Health University.
