NEET to be only Medical Entrance Exam: Prakash Javadekar
Now onwards students aspiring to become doctor have to crack just one entrance examination, National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET). While addressing a press conference in Delhi, Minister of Information and Broadcasting Prakash Javadekar said, "There will be only NEET instead of different medical entrance exams from now."
There are different entrance exams in different medical colleges of the country but now only one examination will be done, on the basis of which students will get admission.

The decision was taken under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Several important decisions have been taken.
