NEET SS Counselling postponed: DNB SS, DM, Mch Counselling merged, says MCC Notice
New Delhi: Candidates awaiting the NEET SS counselling will have to wait longer as the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has postponed the counselling that was tentatively supposed to start from the first week of August.
This comes in light of the fact the counselling for DNB Super Speciality seats would be included in NEET DM/Mch counselling. The notice added that due to this there will be a delay of 10-15 days
MCC recently issued a notice on its official website announcing the same
NEET SS 2019, single eligibility cum entrance examination for admission to Super Specialty Courses, DM/MCh for the academic session 2019 was held on June 28th 2019. 31 distinct question papers were used for different Super Specialty/Clubbed Groups in accordance with the scheme prescribed in the Information Bulletin.
Result cum merit list of NEET-SS 2019 has been declared for each Super Specialty / Clubbed group.
Candidates placed at 50th percentile marks or above in their respective Super Specialty/Clubbed group are declared as qualified as per minimum qualifying criteria indicated in the Information Bulletin.
The result cum scorecard of NEET-SS 2019 is also valid for admission to DNB Super Specialty courses and Fellowship courses of NBE as mentioned in the information bulletin of NEET-SS 2019.
There shall be common counselling for all seats of NEET- SS 2019 at National- Level to be conducted by DirectorateGeneral of Health Services, Government of India.

However, now it has been decided that the DNB Super Speciality seats would be included in NEET DM/Mch counselling. Hence, there will be a delay of 10-15 days for starting of NEET Super Speciality counselling. Candidates are advised to keep in touch with the MCC website for all the updates on the counselling.
