DM, MCh, DNB SS Admissions 2019: MCC releases result of Stray Vacancy Round

New Delhi: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released the Result for stray vacancy Round of NEET SS 2019 counselling for admission to DM, MCh and DNB SS courses.

Tallying the seat matrix and allotted candidates list of DM, MCh and DNB SS stray vacancy round, it can be discerned that 557 seats are still vacant.

There were a total of 399 DM, MCh seats and 411 DNB SS seats vacant for stray vacancy round as per the seat matrix released by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), however, with the results of the stray vacancy counselling session now being announced, only 253 students have been allotted the SS seats leaving 557 seats still vacant.

The Result for stray vacancy Round of Super speciality counselling is attached below. Candidates can download the Allotment letter and proceed for reporting at the allotted institute.

Medical Dialogues had earlier reported that the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW), Government of India and the National Board of Examinations (NBE) has lowered the cut off percentile or qualifying marks for NEET SS 2019 candidates. The reduction in cutoff percentile for admission to NEET SS courses for this academic year was done after the Board of Governors reviewed the proposal in terms of vacant seats and the number of additional eligible candidates to be provided for filling the vacancies in SS courses. In principle, it was decided that the reduction in percentile should provide atleast double the number of vacant seats.
In the Super-specialty courses of CTVS, Cardiology and Paediatric Surgery, the minimum qualifying percentiles have been lowered to 20th Percentile.
For the remaining Super Specialty courses, the minimum qualifying percentiles have been lowered to 40th Percentile.Read Also at Education Medical Dialogues:- NEET 2019 Reduced Cutoff for BDS Admissions: MCC releases schedule for stray vacancy round
