    NEET PG Round 2 Counselling 2019: MCC issues Notice regarding Clarification for Resignation

    New Delhi: Through a recent notification Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) informed about the clarification regarding the resignation in NEET PG 2019 Round 2 counselling session.


    The notice states that some queries are being received in reference to Notice for Online Resignation (Ref. U-12021/02/2019/41-1-MEC Dated: 12-04-2019) whether candidates who have been allotted seat in Round 2 of NEET PG Counselling 2019 will be eligible for Mop Up Round or not.


    The notice further adds that the candidates who have been allotted seat in Round 2, if want to participate in Mop Up Round can exit with Forfeiture of fess. However, they will have to register as a fresh candidate in Mop Up round.

    Candidates who join their allotted seat of All India Quota of Round 2 will not be able to resign and candidates who have been allotted a seat in Deemed/ Central University in Round 2 and join the seat will not be able to participate in any further rounds of counselling in compliance with the directions of Hon’ble Supreme Court of India dated 09/5/2017 passed in Writ Petition© No.267 of 2017 –Dar-Us-Slam Educational Trust & Ors Vs MCI & Ors.



    The candidates who registered but were not allotted a seat in Round1 Round-2 need not register again for Mop Up Round.

    The MCC, had earlier informed all the NEET-PG 2019 candidates that the candidates who had joined the allotted seat of Round-1 and had given willingness for Upgradation in Round-2 at the reporting institute, and have not been upgraded in Round-2, can resign from their seat of Round-1 by 16th April 2019 till 5:00 PM (as per server time) without forfeiture of Refundable Tuition fee failing which their seat will be presumed to be part of Round 2 and Round 2 rules will apply.
