NEET PG Counselling 2019 Round 2: Choice locking Facility open, MCC issues notice
The Choice Locking facility for Round 2 NEET PG 2019 counselling session has begun from today (i.e. 09-04-2019) from 02:00 PM and the facility will stay open till 10 PM.
New Delhi: Through a recent notification, Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) informed about the opening of Choice Locking facility for Round 2 NEET PG 2019 counselling session.
Candidates, who intend to pursue PG medical education can now lock their preferable courses at the official website of MCC. Once, locked now, the facility will not be opened again so candidates are requested to select the courses carefully.
The Choice Locking facility for Round 2 NEET PG 2019 counselling session has begun from today (i.e. 09-04-2019) from 02:00 PM and the facility will stay open till 10 PM.
The time for Choice Filling has been extended till 10:00 PM of 9th April,2019, states the circulating text at the official website of MCC
The notice uploaded on the official website of MCC clearly states:
➢ Candidates are advised to save and lock their choices carefully and after being doubly sure of their choices. Any request for unlocking of the locked choices will not be entertained under any circumstances.
➢ If any candidate saves the choices but is unable to lock them, in such a case the choices saved by the candidate will be considered as true and final choice submitted by the candidate towards the online counselling and will be “Auto-locked” by the server at the end.

Candidates who are listed in the Round 2 NEET PG Counselling 2019 seat matrix can now fill in their choices at the official website of MCC.
NEET PG Counselling ROUND 2
Candidates eligible for seat allotment in the 2nd round would be from one of the following groups:
Group-II: Registered candidates, whose 1st round of allotted seat got Cancelled during the document verification on reporting for admission, who have secured seat under reserved quota, due to change of Category from reserved to Unreserved or PwD status from Yes to No, but are still eligible in the next round of seat allotment, with changed Category, subject to fulfillment of eligibility conditions.
Group–III: Candidates who have reported/joined at the allotted institute during the joining period of round-1 of allotment and submitted willingness for participating in second round upgradation as ‘Yes’.
Group- IV: Candidates who exited during Round-1 availing Free Exit can log in again with their earlier Registered details.
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) had recently announced the results for the NEET PG 2019 First Round of Online Seat Allocation/Counselling for All India Quota seats for PG medical courses, MD/MS/MCh (6 years)/DM (6 years), for the academic year 2019-2020. Candidates who scored good ranks in National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for PG medical courses, NEET PG had participated in the online counselling process for All India quota.
