NEET PG 2019 Counselling: MCC releases list of eligible, non eligible NRI candidates
New Delhi: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has recently published the list of all eligible and non-eligible candidates, who had applied for conversion of category from Indian to NRI to participate in the All India PG counselling 2019.
There are a total of 182 NRI eligible candidates for PG Counselling 2019 Round 1, whereas 65 candidates have been asked to submit their documents again to apply for conversion. These 65 candidates have either failed to fulfil the stipulated criteria for conversion or had not submitted sufficient documents such as embassy letter, passport copy, sponsor letter etc.
The notifications informing the list of eligible and non-eligible candidates; uploaded on the official website of MCC clearly state:
For eligible candidates,
It is for the information to all the candidates who had sent documents claiming to be NRI as per the directions/orders of Hon'ble Supreme Court of India in the case (W.P. (C) No.689/2017- Consortium of Deemed universities in Karnataka (CODEUNIK) & Anr. V/s Union of India & Ors.) dated 22.08.2017, that after screening of documents the following candidates have been found eligible and their category has been changed to NRI

For non- eligible candidates,
It is for the information to all the candidates who had submitted documents for change of Indian to NRI category as per the directions/orders of Hon'ble Supreme Court of India in the case (W.P. (C) No.689/2017- Consortium of Deemed universities in Karnataka (CODEUNIK) & Anr. Vs. Union Of India & Ors.) dated 22-08-2017, that the List of candidates who were not found Eligible for conversion to NRI category due to deficient documents or they not fulfilling the criteria as per court orders is enclosed below. However, they can apply again for conversion during second round of counselling (Round-2) with complete set of documents and within the stipulated time
