NEET Counselling 2019: MCC issues notice regarding Institutional Quota seats of VMMC, Safdarjung Hospital

New Delhi: Through a recent notification, Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has informed the candidates who want to participate for Institutional Quota seats of Central Institutes regarding the conduction of NEET 2019 counselling.

Candidates who want to participate in the Internal Quota seats of Central Institutes (VMMC & Safdarjung Hospital) may kindly note the following:

As per the Gazette Notification of MCI, Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is a custodian authority for conduction of Counselling for all Central Government Institutes and since VMMC & Safdarjung Hospital is a Central Institute, it has been decided by the Ministry that from this year (2019) onwards UG Counselling for 100% (15% AIQ+ 85% Institutional Quota) VMMC & SJ Hospital will be conducted by MCC as per University Rules & Regulations.

Candidates desirous of seeking admission at VMMC & Safdarjung Hospital in MBBS Course (for both AIQ and State Quota) in the academic session 2019-20 have to Register on MCC website.

The eligibility conditions of candidates for 85% Institutional Quota seats will be as per University Rules & Regulations. Candidates are advised to go through the University rules & regulations and eligibility conditions before choosing the Internal seats of VMMC & Safdarjung Hospital.

There are two types of seats available at VMMC & Safdarjung Hospital, Subsidized & Non Subsidized seats in General Category which have different. fee structure. However, MCC software does not differentiate between the two. Subsidized & Non Subsidized seats will be assigned to the candidates by the college authorities after allotment made by MCC, depending on the NEET merit and rank of the candidate.

This issues with the approval of the competent authority.

All the NEET Under Graduate (MBBS/BDS) aspirant candidates are hereby informed that counseling for All India Quota seats/ Institutional Quota/ Domicile (internal candidates) of Central Universities (Aligarh Muslim University/ Banaras Hindu University/ University of Delhi/Faculty of Dentistry, Jamia Millia Islamia, Delhi), (wards of ESIC insured persons) seats of colleges under Employee State Insurance Corporation and Armed Forces Medical College, Pune for the Under graduate session 2019-20 will be conducted by Medical Counseling Committee/ Directorate General of Health Services, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.
