    NEET Counselling 2019: CENTAC issues notice regarding Round 2 for MBBS, BDS, BAMS courses

    NEET Counselling 2019: CENTAC issues notice regarding Round 2 for MBBS, BDS, BAMS courses
    Puducherry: Through a recent notification, the Centralized Admission Committee (CENTAC) has informed about the Round 2 counselling procedure for admissions into undergraduate medical (MBBS), dental (BDS), and Ayurvedic medicine (BAMS) courses this academic year.

    Candidates who are vying for admission to the MBBS, BDS and BAMS courses in Puducherry based institutes; can update themselves with the details of the said notification mentioned below.

    The vacancy position for the 2nd round for MBBS, BDS, BAMS courses in the various colleges are published. View the vacancy position here

    Candidates can participate in the second round without any limitation regarding the first-round allotment if any.

    For participating in the second round for MBBS course alone, the students are required to pay the registration fee as per MCI guidelines as stated below:





















    Type of Seats


    General Candidates


    SC/ST/OBC/MBC/EBC/BCM/BT/EWS
    Government QuotaRs.10,000/-Rs.5000/-
    Management Quota

    Rs.1,00,000/-


    Rs.50,000/-

    Only candidates who pay the above fee to CENTAC will be considered for the second round for MBBS.


    This amount will be forfeited if the candidate who is allotted a seat in MBBS Course in the second round and the candidate fail to join.

    Candidates are allowed to pay the above fee in CENTAC from 04.08.2019 to 06.08.2019 (till 3:00 PM) by using the link in the website.


    Candidates are requested to update the preferences based on the vacant MBBS seats.

    The candidates who have paid can update the details till 5:00 PM on 06.08.2019.

    Candidates who have already joined to the first round can also opt for up-gradation and since they have paid fee, no separate registration fee is required for these candidates. Puducherry candidates who opt for both Government Quota and Management Quota seats can pay the registration fee for Management Quota alone i.e., Rs.1,00,000/- or Rs.50,000/- (for SC/ST/OBC/MBC/EBC/BCM/BT/EWS) as the case may be.
