    With thousands of candidates rushing to make application for NEET 2019, Medical Aspirants can sometimes get stuck while registering for NEET online. In order to break out all the confusion regarding the examination application, the National Testing Agency (NTA), which is the conducting body of the NEET this year, has brought out the list of Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) for NEET 2019.


    The entrance examination, National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Under-Graduate (UG) medical courses, NEET is the largest entrance examination for admissions to medical (MBBS), dental (BDS), and AYUSH courses in the country. NEET 2019 will be conducted as per regulations of the Indian Medical Council Act-1956 and the Dentists Act-1948, and as amended from time to time. NEET Application process is about to close. The last date for registration of November 30.


    Following is the NEET application fee structure given by the NTA

    Service/Processing charges & GST are to be paid bythe candidate, as applicable.

    Q1: How to remit the fee for NEET (UG) - 2019?


    Ans: The examination fee for NEET (UG) - 2019 can be remitted in the following manner:




    • Online Mode i.e. Debit/ Credit card, Net Banking and Unified Payment Interface (UPI) in State Bank of India or ICICI Bank or HDFC Bank or Syndicate Bank.

    • Cash Deposit through e-challan at State Bank of India Branches only.


    Q2: If any candidate faces any problem in remittance of fee, to whom can he/she approach?


    Ans: Candidates can approach the concerned Banks on contact numbers which are available on the website of the NEET (UG) - 2019.


    Q3: If a candidate for any reason not appearing or appeared in the examination, is there any provision for fee refund?


    Ans: No. Once the online application form is submitted successfully by the candidate, it cannot be withdrawn. Claims for refund of application fee will not be entertained under any circumstances.


    Q4: I have made the double payment when my additional fee will be refunded to me?


    Ans: The fee not updated will be refunded to you by your bank/payment gateway within 7 working days in the same
    account from where the payment has been made. This is as per the bank’s policy.


    Q5: I have submitted the fee but my confirmation page has not been generated?


    Ans: The generation of confirmation page is linked with payment of the fee. If your fee has not been received on the NIC portal, the confirmation page will not be generated. If you have paid the fee and confirmation page has not been generated, you are requested to make the efforts to take the print out of your confirmation page in next 24 hours as there could be the delay in updation of fees on NIC server from your gateway payment.


    This updation is done within 24 hours maximum. Thereafter if your confirmation page is still not generated, pay the fee once again and take the printout of the confirmation page. The excess fee paid will be automatically refunded in your account.

    Q6: I have submitted the form and now I wish to make the payment of the fee. However, the payment of fee i.e. step 3 page is not available?


    Ans: The payment of fee is step 3. This could be reached through a candidate’s login after entering user id and password which has been generated by the candidate.


    Q7: How I will get proof of fee paid to NTA for NEET (UG) 2019?


    Ans: Once the confirmation page is generated, it means that you have paid the fees. Further, in the confirmation page, fee details, transaction mode and the transaction id are provided.
