NEET 2019: NTA activates Correction Facility; Last date 31st January
The Correction Facility will stay open from 14.01.2019, 11:a.m. to 31.01.2019, 11:50 p.m.

New Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has activated the one-time Correction Facility window for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Under-Graduate (UG) medical courses for 2019, NEET 2019.

Candidates, who accidentally submitted incorrect data during the application process, now have the chance to correct it to make their data error-free. The Correction Facility will stay open from 14.01.2019, 11:a.m. to 31.01.2019, 11:50 p.m.

The largest entrance examination for UG medical courses, National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) is the gateway for admissions to medical (MBBS), dental (BDS), and AYUSH courses in the country. The test will be conducted as per regulations of the Indian Medical Council Act-1956 and the Dentists Act-1948, and as amended from time to time.

Earlier, the Central Board of Secondary Examination (CBSE) used to conduct NEET, but this year the examination conducting body assigned by the government for NEET is National Testing Agency (NTA).

NEET 2019 will be conducted on 5th May 2019 (Sunday) from 02:00 p.m to 05:00 p.m. The exam will be conducted in offline mode (pen and paper test).

The duration of NEET 2019 will be 03 hours from 02:00 p.m. to 05:00 p.m. However, no entry will be allowed after 1.30 p.m.

Centre allocation is made through the computer with no human intervention.

The notice uploaded on the official website of NTA clearly states, "It has come to notice that many candidates have inadvertently submitted incorrect data in their application form for NEET UG - 2019. In order to ensure that the data of the candidates for NEET UG 2019 is error-free, NTA is providing a one-time correction facility to make the correction in their Online Application Form."

The concerned candidates are requested to pay the additional fee if that becomes due while making the correction in gender and category.

The correction facility will be available on the official website of NTA www.ntaneet.nic.in during the time schedule as mentioned below:-
