NEET 2019 Counselling in Gujarat: ACPUGMEC extends date of online choice filling for Round 1
Gujarat: Through a recent notification, the Admission Committee for Professional Undergraduate Medical Educational Courses (ACPUGMEC) has informed about the extension of online choice filling for the first round.
The notice clearly states that online choice filling for the first round of ACPUGMEC has been extended till 14-07-2019 up to 5.00 P.M. with the inclusion of colleges of Ayurveda, Homeopathy and Naturopathy (as per the order of Hon. High Court of Gujarat, LPA 940/2019 & 941/2019). All students can fill and modify their choices according to the inclusion of these branches and colleges.
For all the eligible candidates and included in the Merit List of ACPUGMEC, for admission of Government Seats, Management Seats and NRI Seats of Medical and Dental Under-Graduate Courses in Government and Self-Financed Medical and Dental Colleges for the academic year 2019-20, scheduled for the 1st round of online choice filling and allotment is as follows:

Important aspects of choice filling
- Online allotment of seats done on the basis of merit cum choice
- So it is merit cum choice based allotment
- Choice can be decided on following criteria
- Specific Course
- Specific Institute/Place
- Government or SFI
- Choice on the base of fees
- In the choice filling of Second round, Choices available for candidates/Allotment of seats will be carried out as per the Closure of first round.
- If candidate is unable to secure the allotted seat for whatsoever reasons, such candidate shall not be eligible to get admission in the same course in the same institute in the successive rounds of counselling.
