NBE launches new DNB, FNB Programmes; invites applications from institutions

NBE grants accreditation to institutions/hospitals in public and private sector all over the country for the purpose of training of candidates in various specialties and disciplines of modern medicine.

Considering the emerging need to increase the pool of competent and skilled specialists and sub specialists so as to cater to the healthcare needs of the society and community at large, National Board of Examinations (NBE) administer Post Graduate DNB Broad Specialty Programme in 29 disciplines, Post Doctoral DNB Super Specialty programme in 26 disciplines and Post Doctoral fellowship programme in 19 disciplines.

NBE recently has invited applications from eligible departments / institutions for following Post Doctoral DNB/FNB Programme:

a. DNB Endovascular and Interventional Radiology

b. FNB Breast Imaging

c. FNB Cross Sectional Body Imaging

d. FNB Body MR Imaging

e. FNB Arthroplasty

Interested institutions/hospitals/medical colleges which fulfill the criteria as laid down for these programme by NBE can apply for fresh accreditation. Details of the minimum accreditation criteria, indicative outline and requirements specific to aforesaid programme are notified on NBE website.

4. The cut off date for submission of application to NBE seeking fresh accreditation in above mentioned programme is 15th July 2017.
