    NBE extends last date for acceptance of DNB Post MBBS, DNB Post Diploma Seat, Fee Payment for certain candidates

    NBE extends last date for acceptance of DNB Post MBBS, DNB Post Diploma Seat, Fee Payment for certain candidates

    New Delhi: The National Board of Examinations (NBE) has extended the last date for acceptance of DNB seat and payment of the 1st-year-course fee for the newly allotted candidate in the Second Round.


    The confirmation to this effect comes via a recent notice uploaded on the official website of NBE which mentions that the last date for acceptance of seat and payment of a 1st-year-course fee in the second round allotment is 6th May 2019 however in view of the poor internet connectivity due to Cyclone Fani, the last date has now been extended to 8th May 2019 till 05:00 PM.




    As per the counselling schedule for DNB (Post MBBS) and DNB(Post Diploma) January 2019 admission session, published on NBE website, the last date for acceptance of seat and payment of a 1st-year-course fee in the second round allotment is 6 th May 2019.


    In view of the poor internet connectivity due to Cyclone Fani, the last date for acceptance of seat and payment of the 1st-year-course fee for the newly allotted candidate in 2 nd Round, has been extended up to 8th May 2019 till 05:00 PM.


    Further counselling schedule shall continue to be the same.

    Documents required (in Original) for Post DNB (Post MBBS)


    1. MBBS Degree certificate/Provisional Pass Certificate of MBBS*
    2. Permanent/Provisional Registration certificate issued by MCI/State Medical Council for registration of MBBS qualification.
    3. Internship Completion Certificate (internship completion date must be on or before 31st March 2019).
    4. SC/ST/PWD/OBC certificate issued by the competent authority, if applicable. Caste certificate must be issued by the competent authority. The sub-caste should tally with the central Govt. list.
    5. Special category certificate issued by the competent authority, if applicable.
    6. Valid Identity proof ie. PAN card, Indian Passport, Voter ID card, Driving License or Aadhaar Card (with the photograph).
    7. Any Bonafide Certificate (optional)


    *Provisional certificate of MBBS Qualification is permissible only for those candidates who had passed the MBBS Qualification in the year 2018. If the candidate has passed MBBS Qualification before 2018 and the MBBS degree certificate has not been issued to him/her so far by the concerned university/Board, documentary evidence to this effect in the form of a letter from competent authority of respective university/Board is to be furnished at the time
    of certificate verification/joining the allotted institute. All the certificates must be in HINDI or ENGLISH.


    In case if any of the certificate(s) is/are in the regional language, its Hindi/English version translated copy duly authenticated by a Gazetted Officer will be required in original at the time of certificate verification/joining the allotted institute.



    Documents required (in Original) for Post DNB (Post Diploma)


    1. MBBS Degree certificate.
    2. Post Graduate Diploma Medical Qualification Pass certificate/Provisional Pass Certificate*.
    3. Permanent Registration certificate issued by MCI/State Medical Council for registration of MBBS qualification.
    4. Proof of having passed the Postgraduate diploma final examination on or before 31st December 2018.
    5. Proof of Post Graduate Diploma Medical Qualification recognized as per the IMC Act/Central Government.
    6. SC/ST/PWD/OBC certificate issued by the competent authority, if applicable. Caste certificate must be issued by the competent authority. The sub-caste should tally with the central Govt. list.
    7. Special category certificate issued by the competent authority, if applicable.
    8. Valid Identity proof i.e. PAN card, Indian Passport, Voter ID card, Driving License or Aadhaar Card (with the photograph).
