FMGE December 2019 Results declared by NBE; check out now
New Delhi: The National Board of Examination (NBE) has released the results for the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination Screening Test (FMGE) December 2019 session.
Candidates who appeared for the examination can check their results on the link attached below
FMGE Dec 2019 was conducted on 20th December 2019. Each and every question in FMGE December-2019 was reviewed by the faculty members from the concerned specialty after the conduct of FMGE December-2019 to re-check for technical correctness of the questions as well as answer keys. As per inputs from the faculty members, a total of 2 questions were found to be technically incorrect in Question Paper of FMGE December-2019. Full marks have been awarded to all the candidates for these questions irrespective of the fact whether these have been attempted or left unattempt by the candidates.
Candidates will be able to download their individual score cards from the website https://nbe.edu.in by 23.01.2020.
As stated by NBE, the FMGE-Screening Test has been introduced through the Screening Test Regulations 2002. As per the regulations, "An Indian citizen/Overseas citizen of India possessing a primary medical qualification awarded by any medical institution outside India who is desirous of getting provisional or permanent registration with Medical Council of India or any State Medical Council on or after 15.03.2002 shall have to qualify a screening test conducted by the prescribed authority for that purpose as per the provisions of section 13 of the Act."
Earlier, the NBE had informed about the verification process for the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination Screening Test (FMGE) pass certificates.
The authority has notified all the State Medical Councils and FMGE Qualified Candidate that if a medical council requires NBE to verify the Pass Certificates of Foreign Medical Graduates who have qualified Screening Test June 2019 session onwards, after being provided with a signed copy of the entire result, a document verification fee of Rs. 2000/- shall be charged for each such FMGE Pass certificate verification. The Fee may be paid through Demand Draft drawn in favour of National Board of Examinations, payable at New Delhi.
