DNB PDCET 2020 Results Withheld due to Deficient Documents; NBE Issues Notice
New Delhi: The National Board of Examinations, (NBE) has withheld the results of those DNB PDCET 2020 candidates who have failed to submit one or more of the required documents along with clarifications with the exam authority.
These candidates are required to submit the deficient documents in their applications and clarifications latest by 31st January 2020.
The details of the deficient document are available at Online Deficient Document Submission Portal for PDCET. Candidates can access the same by entering the Application Sequence Number for 2020 admission session and Date of Birth of applicant.

The deficient document can be submitted only through the aforementioned portal. The original documents should be scanned with a scanner in .pdf format for submission. Hard copies of deficient documents are not required to be submitted. Incomplete/ illegible/ unclear documents shall not be processed. Documents sent through email at any email ID shall not be processed.
The NBE had on 15th January released the results of the DNB PDCET 2020 for candidates who appeared in the Computer Based Test (CBT) on 20th December 2019 at various test centres across the country.

DNB-PDCET is an entrance examination and is an essential pre-requisite for entry to post-diploma DNB 2 years post-graduate courses. Post Diploma DNB courses are offered in the following 16 specialities:
- Anaesthesiology
- Dermatology
- Venereology
- Leprosy
- Nuclear Medicine
- Obstetrics and Gynaecology
- Ophthalmology
- Orthopaedics
- Oto – Rhino – Laryngology
- Paediatrics
- Psychiatry
- Radio-Diagnosis
- Radiotherapy
- Respiratory Diseases
- Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation
- Pathology
NBE at present conducts postgraduate and postdoctoral examinations in approved specialties leading to the award of Diplomate of National Board. The Medical Council of India has laid down standards for postgraduate examinations conducted by various medical colleges and affiliated to concerned universities and other institutions, yet the levels of proficiency and standards of evaluation vary considerably in these institutions
Candidates declared qualified in the PDCET Examination will be asked to participate in the centralized counseling in order of their Specialty specific merit and will be able to opt for NBE accredited institution/hospital/medical College of their choice as per seat availability at their merit.
CENTRALIZED MERIT BASED COUNSELING 2020 ADMISSION SESSION
ELIGIBILITY FOR COUNSELING: Candidates who have qualified the Centralized Entrance Test (DNB PDCET) conducted by NBE in December 2019 and fulfill the eligibility criteria for admission to DNB (Post Diploma) courses (2020 admission session) at various NBE accredited Medical Colleges/ Institutions/ Hospitals in India shall participate in the counseling for allocation of seats purely on merit cum choice basis Guidelines for online centralized merit based counseling shall be available at NBE websitein due course.
