2 more MD Pathology Seats at Teerthanker Mahaveer Medical College for 2017-18

Teerthanker Mahaveer Medical College, Moradabad, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh under Teerthanker Mahaveer University,has received the permission of Medical Council of India (MCI) nod to add twoMD Pathology seats from academic year 2017-18.

This came after Postgraduate Medical Education Committee went through all the records of the college, in particular the Compliance Verification Assessment Report (6th January 2017) along with the Council Assessor’s Report (16th September 2016) and compliance dated 9th December 2016 submitted by the college authorities on the physical and other teaching facilities available at Teerthanker Mahaveer Medical College, Moradabad, Moradabad,Uttar Pradesh under Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad for Increase of seats in MD (Pathology) course u/s 10A of the IMC Act, 1956 for the academic year 2017-18.

The Postgraduate Medical Education Committee decided to recommend to the Central Govt.to issue Letter of Permission for increase of seats in MD (Pathology) course at Teerthanker Mahaveer Medical College, Moradabad, Moradabad,Uttar Pradesh under Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabadu/s 10A of the I.M.C. Act, 1956 prospectively i.e. from the academic session 2017-2018 from 5(Five) to 7(Seven) students per year till the first batch admitted against the increased number appears in the final examination of the said course. The Teaching Institution has been advised to apply for recognition of the qualification for the additional increased intake at the time of first available examination as per the provision of Section 11(2) of the IMC Act, 1956.
