Meerut Hospital inspected for 2 DNB seats
Meerut: To ascertain whether the Meerut-based Pyare Lal Sharma District Hospital (PL Sharma Hospital) has the facilities and infrastructure to conduct the Diploma of National Board (DNB) courses, the National Board of Examinations (NBE) recently inspected the medical institute.
The National Board of Examinations accredits the DNB course all over the country at present. To start these courses at their medical institute, the medical colleges and medical hospitals have to apply to the NBE for its recognition similar to the Medical Council of India for MBBS and PG Medical courses.
Accordingly, the PL Sharma Hospital had applied for 2 Post-Graduate (PG) DNB seats and for that the NBE recently paid a visit to the institute to review the hospital premises. The postgraduate course was set to begin in the hospital from June 2018.
