Mediscience 2016 exhibition gets underway

Coimbatore: To create awareness on medical education and health care, a 15 day Mediscience 2016 exhibition organised by the Coimbatore Medical college got underway.

Forty stalls at the exhibition would provide the general public and students details of medical health and education to motivate people on good healthcare practices and for students to take the initiative to go for medical education, an official release said.

District Collector Archana Patnaik inaugurated the expo today, which was got up as part of the Golden Jubilee Celebrations of Coimbatore Medical College.

College Dean Edwin Joe and city police commissioner A Amalraj were also present.
