Medical Student takes life in Hyderabad

Telangana: Sirisha (17), a first-year student of a medical college committed suicide by hanging herself on Tuesday.

The area where the incident took place falls under the jurisdiction of Meerpet Police Station.

According to a Hans India report, the girl on her return home from college on that fateful day shut her self up in her room and when her brother who returned home after a few hours knocked on it received no response from her.

Suspecting something, he broke open her door only to find her hanging from the ceiling fan of the room.

A case has been registered. The reason behind the suicide is not known yet.The police have begun an investigation reported Hans India.
