NEET PG 2020 round 1 counselling: MCC releases clarification on Choice filling
New Delhi: With a number of queries being received by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) about the Round 1 counselling, MCC has recently released some clarifications regarding the choice filling as well as counselling for AFMS
"It is for the information to all candidates that MCC is receiving queries regarding various aspects of counselling. The candidates are advised to make note of the following points in reference to ongoing NEET PG Counselling 2020,"
- The Choice Locking option will be available on last day of Choice Filling i.e 22nd March, 2020 (Sunday), 03:00 Pm onwards. Candidates are advised to fill, edit and save their options by that time. The choices submitted and saved by a candidate will be locked by the system at the time of last date/time of choice locking as mentioned in Counselling Schedule even if the candidate does not lock choices on his own.
- Candidates who want to participate in AFMS Counselling have to register on MCC Website. Only Registration will be done on MCC Website and rest of the counselling will be carried out by AFMS website www.afmcdg1d.gov.in

MCC will conduct counseling for the following Institutions/Universities:-
a) 50% All India Quota seats of all states except J&K.
b) 100% seats (All India Quota seats + Institutional Quota seats) of Central Universities (Aligarh Muslim University/ Banaras Hindu University/ University of Delhi/ Central Institutes as per eligibility conditions mentioned in Important Questions related to Scheme of Counselling duly uploaded on MCC website.
c) 100% seats of Deemed Universities.
d) 50% AIQ P.G seats of colleges under Employee State Insurance Corporation (wards of ESIC insured persons).
e) All P.G seats of Armed Forces Medical Services Institutions(only Registration part).
f) Central Institutes, VMMC & Safdarjung Hospital, ABVIMS & RML Hospital and ESIC Institute, PGIMSR, Basaidarapur(50% All India Quota seats and 50% seats of I.P University).
Students may note the following points:-
❖ For participation in NEET PG Counselling 2020 candidates are required to go for Registration at official website of Medical Counseling Committee (www.mcc.nic.in).
❖ Candidates to note that Non- Refundable registration fees and Refundable Security Deposit have to be paid by the candidate at the time of registration as per their category.
❖ The Refundable Security Deposit of candidates who do not join the seats allotted to them in Round-2 / Mop Up Round & Stray Vacancy Round will be Forfeited.
❖ Reservation of seats under PwD Category will be 5% as per Gazette Notification of MCI.
