    MBBS, BDS from IP university colleges can participate AIQ counselling: MCC issues notice

    NEW DELHI- Following its notice clarifying that the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is going to conduct counselling for 50% institutional quota seats of central institutes affiliated to IP University, the MCC has issued yet another notice for IP university passouts that they are eligible to participate in the AIQ round

    " all the candidates who have passed MBBS/ BDS from any college to affiliated to I.P University that such candidates are eligible for participation in 50% Institutional Quota of Central Institutes i.e VMMC, ABVIMS and PGIMSR, ESI Hospital, Basaidarapur, Delhi conducted by MCC," the notice stated

    Medical Dialogue had earlier reported that MCC is going to conduct the NEET PG AID counselling for central institutes including Vardhman Mahavir Medical College & Safdarjung hospital and Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute of Medical Sciences & RML hospital and ESIC.

    All rules of central institutes will apply.

    MCC will conduct counseling for the following Institutions/Universities:-

    a) 50% All India Quota seats of all states except J&K.

    b) 100% seats (All India Quota seats + Institutional Quota seats) of Central Universities (Aligarh Muslim University/ Banaras Hindu University/ University of Delhi/ Central Institutes as per eligibility conditions mentioned in Important Questions related to Scheme of Counselling duly uploaded on MCC website.

    c) 100% seats of Deemed Universities.

    d) 50% AIQ P.G seats of colleges under Employee State Insurance Corporation (wards of ESIC insured persons).

    e) All P.G seats of Armed Forces Medical Services Institutions(only Registration part).

    f) Central Institutes, VMMC & Safdarjung Hospital, ABVIMS & RML Hospital and ESIC Institute, PGIMSR, Basaidarapur(50% All India Quota seats and 50% seats of I.P University).

    Students may note the following points:-

    ❖ For participation in NEET PG Counselling 2020 candidates are required to go for Registration at official website of Medical Counseling Committee (www.mcc.nic.in).

    ❖ Candidates to note that Non- Refundable registration fees and Refundable Security Deposit have to be paid by the candidate at the time of registration as per their category.

    ❖ The Refundable Security Deposit of candidates who do not join the seats allotted to them in Round-2 / Mop Up Round & Stray Vacancy Round will be Forfeited.

    ❖ Reservation of seats under PwD Category will be 5% as per Gazette Notification of MCI.
