MD, MS 2020: PGIMER issues notice on Eligibility, Admit card
Chandigarh: PG Medical Candidates, who have applied for MD and MS courses January 2020 Session at Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) are requested to check out the notification for Eligibility and Admit card for MD/MS entrance test.
In a recently issued notice, the PGIMER authorities informed to all the applicants who have successfully registered for MD/MS entrance test to be held on 30th November 2019 about the eligibility f those candidates who have uploaded unattested documents in MD/MS application form.
The institute has also informed about the dates wherein the students can download their admit card.
The notice clearly states that the correction window for uploaded documents was opened on 17 & 18 November for the candidates who had uploaded the wrong or un-attested documents in the application form of MD/MS entrance test. Yet, many queries are being received in this office regarding the correction of uploaded un-attested documents in MD/MS application form.
It is therefore decided that the candidates who have uploaded un-attested documents are allowed to appear in MD/MS entrance test provisionally on the condition of verification of their documents during scrutiny process at a later stage.
It is also informed that admit card for MD/MS entrance may be downloaded w.e.f. 24th November up to 30th November 2019.
Earlier, the PGI Chandigarh had informed about the rescheduling of the entrance test timings. "The timing of the test has been changed from 09:00-12:00 hours to 15:00-18:00 hours due to administrative reasons," the institute had stated.

Where are the EXAMINATION CENTRES?
(i) Applicants should indicate his/her choice of the city of examination at the time of filling the online application form. The city chosen is subject to confirmation of payment of the examination fee. The city of the examination shall be allotted on a first-come-first-serve basis subject to the availability of nodes in the respective city.
(ii) The city of examination once chosen and allotted will not be changed and any request in this regard will not be entertained. Applicants should, therefore, indicate the choice of the city with utmost care. Applicants are advised to complete the process of online application at the earliest without waiting for the last date, to avoid not getting the city/centre of their choice.
