    MD Homeopathy 2019 Counselling for leftover seats: TN Health issues notice on extension

    Chennai: Through a recent notice, the Directorate of Medical Education and Selection Committee (TN Health Tamil Nadu) has informed about the extension of the last date for PG AYUSH admissions to government and management quota leftover seats for MD Homeopathy 2019.


    The last date has been extended up to 30th November 2019 by the Ministry of AYUSH. Walk-In Counseling is going to be held on 27.11.2019


    The TN Health in its notice has clearly stated that further to be eligible for admission, as per the new guidelines of the Ministry of AYUSH it shall be necessary for a candidate to obtain minimum marks at 40th percentile in AIAPGET-2019. However, in respect of candidates belonging to the ST / SCA / SC / MBC/DC/ BCM / BC, the minimum marks shall be at 30th percentile. In respect of candidates with benchmark disabilities specified under the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016, the minimum marks shall be at 35th percentile for General Category and 30th percentile for ST / SCA / SC / MBC/DC/ BCM / BC.


    As a sequence, a Walk-In Counseling is going to be held on 27.11.2019 based on the new eligibility criteria as mentioned above for the leftover vacancies as cited below for both the Govt. Quota seats and Management Quota seats separately and successively / in sequence.


    Fresh Application Forms will be issued for both categories of seats on the day of Counseling i.e.27.11.2019 (strictly between 8.00 a.m. and 12.00 Noon only) at the Selection Committee office. Application Cost for Govt. Quota seats are Rs.3000/- and the Application cost for Management quota seats is Rs.5000/-. Separate General Merit list for Govt. quota seats and Management quota seats will be arrived after scrutiny and declared at 2.00 p.m. at the Selection Committee office, the venue of the above Walk-In Counseling.


    All the relevant clauses/rules and regulations as appearing in the Prospectuses for M.D.(Homoeopathy) course 2019-20 session (both Govt. quota seats & Management quota seats separately ) will be applicable for all the candidates who participate in this Walk-In Counseling. Also, those candidates who applied earlier and were declared INELIGIBLE due to Minimum Eligibility marks can also apply afresh for this Walk-In Counseling. Processing fee of Rs.1000/- will be collected from the candidates who participate in this Walk-In Counseling.


    Further candidates getting allotment for Govt. quota seats shall have to remit a part tuition fee of Rs.10,000/- and candidates getting allotment for Management quota seats shall have to remit a part tuition fee of Rs.25,000/-. All the payments towards Application Cost, Processing Fee, Part tuition fee etc., should be made vide Demand Draft drawn on or after 25.11.2019 in favour of "The Director of Indian Medicine and Homoeopathy, Chennai-106" payable at Chennai.
