MBBS at JIPMER: Counselling from June 26, Details

Puducherry: The Counselling for admission to the MBBS course at Jawaharlal Institute of Post-Graduate Medical Education & Research (JIPMER), an Institution of National Importance Under Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India, Dhanvantari Nagar, Pondicherry-605 006 will commence on 26th June.


Counselling dates:

The counselling for UR/OPH & P-OPH will be held on 26.06.2018. The counselling for OBC/SC/ST will be on 27.06.2018 and that for Puducherry-UR/OBC/SC & & NRI/OCI will be on 28.06.2018. Those in the rank lists concerned, called for counselling have to report at 8 am at JIPMER Academic Centre, JIPMER, Puducherry-06.

Medical Board:

PwD-OPH & P-OPH candidates have to report for the Medical Board at 9 am at the Academic Section (3rd Floor), JIPMER Academic Centre JIPMER, Puducherry--06 on 25.06.2018.

The list of Candidates called for Counselling- MBBS Courses (2018-2019 session) on the basis of the performance in the online entrance exam held on 3.6.2018 is available at the official website.

Total seats at Puducheery are 150 and that at Karaikal, 50. OPH reservation is Horizontal reservation.

The list of certificates to be brought on the day of counselling is given in Page 29 of the MBBS Prospectus. All applicants who have appeared for the entrance Examination can download their individual Rank Letter detailing their marks, from www.jipmer.puduchery.gov.in/ www.jipmer.edu.in.

No individual communication will be sent to any of the candidates. They are required to check the JIPMER website for relevant and updated instructions on counselling periodically. Change of Counselling date will not be allowed to any candidate under any circumstances.
