MBBS Admissions in Karnataka: KEA issues notice on Registration for names list
Bengaluru: The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has opened the window of registration for names list regarding MBBS and BDS admissions academic year 2019-2020.
Candidates who are vying for admission to MBBS and BDS courses into Karnataka based medical and dental colleges; can update themselves with the details of the notification informing about the registration.
The notice mentions, "As per Hon'ble Supreme Court order, after the mop-up round, the list of eligible but un-allotted candidates will be sent by KEA to colleges to fill-up vacant seats, if any. In this regard, as per the consensual agreement between Government and Private Colleges, KEA has enabled the online registration up to 12-08-2019 4.00 pm to the candidates who wish to be considered in the names list and who have not registered earlier in KEA."
Further, document verification has been scheduled for 13-08-2019 from 10.30 am to 1.30 pm. Eligible candidates are hereby informed to read the instructions hosted on KEA Website http://kea.kar.nic.in for more details.
As per Hon’ble Supreme Court order, after the mop-up round, the list of eligible but un- allotted candidates will be sent by KEA in 1:10 ratio in the order of merit to colleges to fill- up vacant seats, if (Candidates to note that only OTHERS (Q) seats are unfilled after mop-up round)
Candidates who have qualified in UGNEET-2019 and who are willing to be considered their names in the names list to be sent by KEA to colleges can register and pay the fees through online from 11.00 am on 09-08-2019 up to 4.00 pm on 12-08-2019 and attend the document verification on 13-08-2019 from 10.30 am to 1.00 pm at KEA, Bangalore with all the necessary original
Those who have already registered and verified their documents need not register once again.
Those who have already registered but not verified can also attend the document verification if interested to consider their names in the list to be sent by KEA to the colleges.
Please read the UGNEET-2019 Information Bulletin for documents to be produced for verification.
Registration and verification is only to consider the names of the candidates in the names list to be sent by KEA to the colleges at the respective colleges as per Hon’ble Supreme Court
Only the candidates who complete the registration process including document verification arc eligible for Medical / Dental scats in Private Colleges in Karnataka. (As per GOI Instructions)
