    MBBS Admissions 2019 in Tamil Nadu: TN Health releases Tentative Counselling Schedule for Round 2

    Chennai: The The Directorate of Medical Education and Selection Committee (TN Health Tamil Nadu) has released the Tentative 2nd phase counselling schedule for admission to MBBS/BDS courses.

    Candidates who are vying for admission to Tamil Nadu govt. medical/dental college, IRT medical colleges, Perundurai, Erode, and govt, seats in self-financing medical colleges, Rajah Muthiah medical (Annamalai University) and ESIC medical colleges & PGIMSR, KK nagar, Chennai 2019-2020 session can update themselves with the counselling schedule mentioned below.

    In addition to the schedule, the counselling authority has also published the instructions for students.

     No Individual call letters will be sent.


     Candidates should be present one hour prior to commencement of counselling along with one of their parent at their own cost.


     Candidate should produce a Demand Draft payable at Chennai for Rs. 500/- drawn in favour of "Secretary, Selection Committee, Chennai – 10." at the time of counselling as processing fee.


     The candidate should produce the following original certificates/documents without which the candidates will not be allowed to participate in the counselling.


    1. NEET scorecard


    2. X std Mark Sheet


    3. XI Mark Sheet


    4. HSC/Equivalent Mark Sheet


    5. Bonafide Certificate for having studied in one or more schools of Tamil Nadu from VI to XII Std.


    6. Transfer certificate from the school last studied (or) Bonafide certificate should be produced from where the candidate is undergoing the course at present.


    7. Nativity Certificate for the candidates who are native of Tamil Nadu but have studied from Std VI to Std XII outside Tamil Nadu either partly or completely in one or more states.


    8. Aadhar Card

    10. Ration Card / Passport


    PARENT CERTIFICATES:


     Transfer Certificate / SSLC / 10th / 12th Mark Sheet /First Graduate Certificate / No Graduate Certificate

     Since the number of candidates is being called for counselling, allotment is not guaranteed to everyone.


     Candidates should pay the fee as prescribed in the fee details annexed below at the time of allotment.


     Candidates can attend the counselling as per the date, time and mark mentioned in the schedule.


     Candidates selected under Special Category (Ex-Servicemen, Eminent Sports persons, Orthopaedically Physically Disabled) in 1st Phase of counselling are not eligible for Re-allotment.


     If the candidate is absent for the 1st phase of counselling called for, he/she cannot attend the subsequent phases of counselling.


     Those candidates who opted out of Govt. /SF MBBS/ Govt. BDS/SF BDS when seats were available in the 1st phase of counselling are not eligible to claim the same in the subsequent phases of counselling.


     Candidates attending counselling should produce two Demand Drafts one for Rs.500/- towards processing fee(at Attendance Counter) and the second Demand Draft towards tuition fee for a respective category at Bank counter in the MAIN HALL after allotment is confirmed.


     Candidates allotted under Government Quota of Self Financing MBBS who do not join the course the tuition fee amount of Rs. 25,000/- paid as Demand Draft will not be refunded.


     Candidates are informed to view the websites for daily vacancy position in Govt. MBBS/ Govt. Quota in Self Financing MBBS and in Govt. BDS/Govt Quota in Self-financing BDS till the end of counselling.


     Candidates shall only opt for the vacancies available at their turn.


     Mobile Phones and other communication devices are not allowed in the counselling hall during their turn.
