    MBBS Admissions 2019: CENTAC releases list of vacant seats for Mop up Round
    Puducherry: The Centralized Admission Committee (CENTAC) has released the tentative list of Vacancies for MBBS course for Mop-up round NEET Counselling 2019.

    Earlier, the Centralized Admission Committee (CENTAC) had released the schedule and instructions for mop-up counselling session for MBBS and BDS courses 2019.

    The concerned candidates who are vying to appear for mop-up round for admission to MBBS and BDS courses in Puducherry based medical and dental colleges are requested to view the schedule and instructions mentioned below.

    The counselling authority has also activated the link for fee payment.

    Mode of Counseling



    Mop — up counseling will be done physically i.e. in person.




    Mop —up counseling for MBBS Government Quota and Management Quota seats will be done on 21 ST August 2019

    Eligibility

    Requests were received in CENTAC to allow the joined candidates also to participate in the mop-up counseling. The same has been examined and it has been decided to allow sliding. All candidates registered with CENTAC are eligible to participate in the flop up Counseling.

    Fee Payment in Mop Up and Forfeiture

    Since MOP —UP round is the last round of Counseling, candidates will be allotted seats only after payment of the fee. Seats will not be allotted unless fee is paid, Candidates can bring DD for the Fee amount or transfer the amount online using the payment gateway. DD should be drawn in favor of CONVENOR CENTAC.

    (Fee for Government Quota — PIMS & SMVMC&H — Rs.3.80 Lakhs, for SVMC&RI — Rs.3.29 Lakhs / Fee for Management Quota — Rs.16 Lakhs)

    Candidates who want to transfer the fee as advance can pay to CENTAC site using the payment gateway in their login.

    Please note that if the candidate fails to join and if the College is not able to fill the seat from the 1:10 list sponsored by CENTAC, then entire tuition fee paid during the mop-up round will be forfeited.
    If the College is able to fill the seat, then an amount of Rs.1,00,000/- will be forfeited and the remaining amount will be refunded after 6 months.

    In case of Candidates who have transferred the fee and who are not allotted the seat, the amount will be refunded within one week to the same account.

    Therefore, it is advised that the candidates make a considerate decision before taking the seat in mop-up counseling.
    Seat Matrix

    The updated seat matrix will be published on 18th August 2019 (by 11 am) on the CENTAC website. Candidates are requested to evaluate their chances based on the vacancies and CENTAC will not be responsible for not calling anyone for counseling.

    Reservation

    MOP-UP Counselling will be done in sessions. In the first session, reservation will be allowed and all Candidates in the respective Category will be called. Thereafter unfilled seats will be converted into unreserved seats and offered as per Merit. TOP-UP Counselling will be done separately for Government Quota and Management Quota seats.

    Expressing Willingness for 1:10 List

    After Mop-up counseling, CENTAC will be sponsoring the list of interested candidates to the Colleges against the incidental vacancies that arise after mop-up counseling in the ratio of 1:10, if 5 vacancies are there then a list of 50 candidates in order of merit will be sponsored.

    Candidates who are already registered with CENTAC will be required to enter their willingness to get their name included in the 1:10 list to be sponsored to the colleges after NIOP UP round, for incidental vacancies, if any. Candidates who have already joined will be excluded from the 1:10 list. Please note that the names of the Candidates who have not expressed willingness will not be sponsored.
