    MBBS Admissions 2019: CEE Kerala releases reporting schedule for Spot Counselling
    Kerala: Through a recent notice, CEE Kerala recently informed about the reporting schedule for centralised spot counselling that is going to be held to fill the MBBS Vacant Seats.

    The vacancies available due to the All India allotment of ESI/All India Seats in Self-Financing Medical Colleges for MBBS course are filled through a centralized spot admission on 30.08.2019, 10.00 am at Travancore International Convention Centre of Kariavattom Sports Hub, Thiruvananthapuram (Greenfield Stadium).


    Candidates included in the medical rank list published by CEE alone can participate in the Spot Admission. Candidates who have already been admitted through All India allotments and to the MBBS course through State Quota counselling by the Commissioner for entrance Examinations are not eligible to participate in the spot admission. Candidates who wish to participate in the spot admission must register by visiting the home page of the website www.cee.kerala.gov.in and download the slip by clicking on the link ‘Registration slip’ available in the candidate portal from 28.08.2019, 6.00 pm onwards. The registration slip is essential for participating in the admission process.


    Reporting Schedule


    Candidates are requested to report for the spot admission as per the following schedule.

    Note: If vacancies exist even after considering the candidates within the respective cut-off marks given above, the spot admission to the remaining vacancies will be conducted for the candidates whose Kerala state medical rank is beyond the respective cut-off rank given above. The 2nd stage of the spot admission process, if required, will start at 1.30 p.m on the same day. If so, candidates having Kerala state medical rank after the applicable cut-off rank is given above shall have to report at the venue at 1.30 p.m only.


    DETAILS OF FEE & MODE OF REMITTANCE


    Candidates getting allotment during the spot admission shall have to remit the fee of Rs.3,00,000/- by way of demand draft drawn from a Nationalized/ Scheduled Bank in favour of the Commissioner of Entrance Examinations payable at Thiruvananthapuram. Candidates those who have remitted any fee amount to the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations as per the KEAM allotments (Except Engineering courses) need to submit the Demand Draft for the balance amount only. Candidates getting allotment to MBBS course who belong to SC/ST/OEC and other eligible candidates for fee concession are exempted from payment. Candidates who got admission in minority quota seats will have to pay the fees mentioned above. For more details regarding fee, see the notification at the time of option registration.


    DOCUMENTS TO BE SUBMITTED AT THE TIME OF SPOT ADMISSION


     Registration slip.


     Demand Draft for the requisite amount.


     TC (Original): (The Candidates admitted in BDS and medical allied courses through the allotment process of Commissioner of Entrance Examinations, can participate in the spot admission with original NOC, Possession certificate and attested copies of qualifying certificates, D.D and other documents. If they get admission to the MBBS course, their previous admission will be cancelled. The candidates who were admitted in other courses, will not get spot admission without original TC).


     Eligibility Certificate from a University in Kerala, in the case of candidates who have passed a qualifying examination other than higher secondary examination/ vocational higher secondary examination conducted by Government of Kerala or the Examinations conducted by CBSE and CISCE.


     Migration Certificate, if applicable.


     Certificate to prove the date of birth.


     Data Sheet of KEAM 2019.


     Physical fitness certificate in the relevant format given in annexure XVII(b) of the KEAM prospectus 2019.


    NOTE:- Candidates who cancel their admission after getting allotment in Spot admission will have to pay liquidated damages as stipulated in Clause 12.2.4.
