Maharashtra: Government to give Rs 35 crore grant for upcoming medical college
Nanded : Maharashtra Minister for Medical Education Girish Mahajan has assured to release Rs 35 crore for construction of buildings at the premises of Dr Shankarrao Chavan Medical College in the city.
He gave this assurance in a meeting held here yesterday, wherein MLA D P Sawant was also present.
MLA Sawant raised various demands concerning the college, which the Minister assured to look into.
''The college, named after Dr Chavan, should become a good memorial by providing facilities to the patients and students,'' Mr Sawant hoped.
Other representatives of the people and various officers of the college were also present at the meeting.
