LG should order a detailed inquiry into PG medical admission: Anbazhagan
Puducherry: Alleging various irregularities in PG medical admissions into private medical colleges, AIADMK legislature A Anbazhagan on Thursday urged Lt. Governor to order a detailed inquiry into the matter.
The AIADMK leader alleged that the Puducherry Government was supporting the acts of private medical colleges here.
While talking to media persons, Anbazhagan said that the Puducherry government pleader failed to appear before the Madras High Court in two cases pertaining to the PG medical admission in support of the private medical colleges here.
Stating that elections to some cooperative institutions were not conducted in a proper manner, Anbazhagan said adequate time be given before holding elections. He regretted that in spite of allotting Rs 400 crore for education in the budget, the quality of education and pass percentage is on a back track here.
