KNRUHS releases final merit list for MSc Nursing 2019
Hyderabad: Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences, (KNRUHS) Telangana State, Warangal has released the final merit list for MSc Nursing for the academic year 2019-2020 of the eligible candidates in the varsity affiliated Colleges based on merit in the qualifying examination BSc, (N) 4YDC / Post BSC (N) 2YDC Course under Competent Authority Quota.
The merit list is attached below:
Medical Dialogues had earlier reported about the eligibility criteria issued by the university for MSc Nursing course.
What is the eligibility criteria?
Candidates should have passed B.Sc., (N) 4YDC / Post BSC (N) 2YDC) degree from an Institution, which is recognized by Indian Nursing council with minimum 55% of aggregate marks for OC and BC Category Candidates.
SC / ST Candidates should secure minimum of 50% of aggregate marks. In respect of Government College of Nursing, Hyderabad, Female Candidates who are in Government service are only eligible for admission. Subject to fulfillment of Government Orders from time to time.
a) For Service seats :- Should be a Regular employee of the Government of Telangana/ AP and shall have put in not less than 5 years service in the departments of Medical & Health Service, Vaidya Vidhana Parishad of Telangana & A.P. In any capacity in Nursing as on 30-09-2019.
b) For Non-service seats : -i) For Regular candidates, minimum one year of work experience after registration of B.Sc., (N) course as on 30-09-2019.
ii) Minimum one year of work experience prior or after registration of Post Basic Nursing courses as on 30.09.2019
NOTE: Experience certificate once submitted is final. No alterations / No revised service certificate will be accepted after submission of application at the time of verification. The candidates, who have not acquired relevant service and not submitted requisite certificates, such applications will be rejected and no further correspondence will be entertained. Therefore, Candidates are advised to check the details carefully before filling the application form.
AGE: Both the service and Non-service candidates should not have completed 45 years of age as on 31st December 2019. For candidates belonging to SC / ST, the maximum age limit shall be 48 years.
REGISTRATION WITH NURSING COUNCIL:
Candidates should be Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife of Indian Nursing Council (for service and nonservice candidates.)
The candidates are advised to download and read the Prospectus of the course and Instructions for filling online Application.
a) Merit list will be finalized taking into consideration the aggregate percentage of marks obtained by the candidate in BSc(N) 4 YDC / PB. BSc(N) 2 YDC in all subjects.
b) In case of equality of marks percentage, Date of Birth shall be taken in to consideration and candidate born earlier will be considered first.
c) In case of equality of age also aggregate marks percentage of final year exam obtained by candidate willbe taken into consideration.
Registration and Counseling Fee:-
The Registration and Counseling fee is Rs.5,000/- + Bank Charges, (Rs.4,000/- + Bank charges for SC/ST candidates) to be paid through online.
Candidates who studied BSc (Nursing) outside the state of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh are required to pay Rs.3000/- towards Verification fee for equivalency In addition to Registration fee.
