KNRUHS issues notice on Certificate Verification for BSc Nursing, other paramedical courses
Hyderabad: The Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS) has released a notification for first and final verification of Original certificates for web-based Counseling for Admissions into BSc (Nursing) 4 YDC / P B BSc (Nursing) 2YDC/BPT / BSc (MLT) Courses in colleges for the academic year 2019-20 under Competent Authority Quota.
In its notice, the varsity notifies that the candidates whose names have been notified in the course wise applied candidates lists displayed on KNR UHS web-site are directed to attend First & Final verification of certificates for admission into BSc (Nursing) 4 YDC / P B BSc (Nursing) 2YDC/BPT / BSc (MLT) Courses for the academic year 2019-20 into the Colleges in Telangana State affiliated to KNRUHS at Helpline Centers i.e. Prof. G. Ram Reddy Center for Distance Education , OU Campus, Hyderabad and JNTUH,Kukatpally, Hyderabad as per the schedule following the serial number in the list given in the tables below.
Final Merit list of candidates for admission into BSc (Nursing) 4 YDC / P B BSc (Nursing) 2YDC/BPT / BSc (MLT) Courses will be decided after verification of certificates and will be displayed on KNRUHS, Web-site. Schedule for exercising web- options for Counseling and allotment of seats will be notified on KNRUHS web-site
No individual communication will be sent to the candidates. Candidates are advised to check the KNRUHS web-site from time to time for notification regarding schedule for exercising web-options and counseling.
Candidates are advised to refer to the Prospectus of each course displayed on KNRUHS web-site for eligibility criteria and any other details.

Persons with Disabilities (PWD) : Candidates have to attend for evaluation of PWD Percentage by the Medical Board constituted by KNRUHS at PGRRCDE, OU- CAMPUS, HYDERABAD. on 05-10-2019 at 11.00 A.M for all Courses.
BPT Course:
Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent with Botany, Zoology, Physics and Chemistry or Intermediate Vocational (Physiotherapy) or Inter vocational with Bridge course of Biological and Physical Sciences or APOSS with Biological and Physical Sciences and should have completed 17 years of age as on 31-12-2019.
Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent with Botany, Zoology, Physics and Chemistry or Intermediate Vocational (Medical Lab Technology) or Diploma in Medical Laboratory or Inter vocational with Bridge course of Biological and Physical Sciences or APOSS with Biological and Physical Sciences and should have completed 17 years of age as on 31-12-2019.
3 Government Service Candidates: Should have completed 2 years of service as a staff nurse in Medical and Health Department and Telangana Vaidya Vidhana Parishad as on 30.06.2019. Service certificate as a staff nurse should be enclosed issued by the Director of Health/Commissioner VVP/Director of Health. Only Female candidates are eligible.
Candidates are directed to bring all the Original Certificates mentioned below along with 1 - set of self attested copies of certificates and print-out of on-line application form duly signed with Photograph affixed at the space provided.
Candidates has to attend in person, proxies are not permitted.

- Candidates opting for seats under Persons with Disabilities (PWD) have to attend for evaluation of PWD Percentage by the Medical Board constituted by KNRUHS at PGRRCDE, OU-CAMPUS, HYDERABAD. The decision of Medical Board is final with regard to evaluation of PWD percentage and
- Candidates are hereby informed that this is the first and final verification of Original Certificates. There will not be any further verification of

What is the ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION?
BPT Course:
Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent with Botany, Zoology, Physics and Chemistry or Intermediate Vocational (Physiotherapy) or Inter vocational with Bridge course of Biological and Physical Sciences or APOSS with Biological and Physical Sciences and should have completed 17 years of age as on 31-12-2019.
B.Sc.(MLT) Course :
Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent with Botany, Zoology, Physics and Chemistry or Intermediate Vocational (Medical Lab Technology) or Diploma in Medical Laboratory or Inter vocational with Bridge course of Biological and Physical Sciences or APOSS with Biological and Physical Sciences and should have completed 17 years of age as on 31-12-2019.
B.Sc.(Nursing) 4YDC Course :
- The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on 31-12-2019.
2. Educational qualification:
- 10+2 Passed @45% aggregate of marks in science ( Physics, Chemistry and Biology) and English is compulsory subject.
- 10+2 Passed out from recognized board under AISSCE/CBSE/ICSE/SSCE/HSCE/NIOS/APOSS or other equivalent Board with Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
- Intermediate Vocational with Bridge Course in Biological and Physical sciences.
- Those who belongs to SC,ST and BC are eligible with 40% in the Science Group subjects and English is compulsory subject as per order of the Secretary Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi vide letter No.F.No.1-2/2014-INC and vide the circular No.F.No. 1-6/2016 - INC, Dated: 21-09-2016.
Post Basic BSc(N) 2YDC Course :
- Candidates seeking admission into Post Basic Sc., (Nursing) Course should have passed Intermediate Examination. or Any other equivalent examination (10+2 pattern) recognized by the University, Government of Telangana or Board of Intermediate Education Telangana or NIOS, TSOSS – Indian Nursing Council Regulations. &
- Should have passed General Nursing and Midwifery from an institution recognized by the Govt. of Telangana or Nursing Council of India and shall be registered with the State Nursing council.

WHAT ARE ORIGINAL CERTIFICATES TO BE PRODUCED AT THE TIME OF VERIFICATION?
Candidates are directed to bring all the Original Certificates mentioned below along with 1 - set of self attested copies of certificates and print-out of on-line application form duly signed with Photograph affixed at the space provided.
Candidates has to attend in person, proxies are not permitted.
- S.S.C or equivalent examination certificate showing date of birth.
- 2.Memorandum of marks of Intermediate or equivalent examination.
- Transfer certificate.
- Study certificate from 6th Class to Intermediate.
- Latest Permanent Caste Certificate issued by competent authority of Government of Telangana.
- Aadhar card.
- Resident Certificate for 10 years of either parent issued by MRO / Tahsildar for Candidates who have studied out-side the state of Telangana.
- Latest Income Certificate of parent issued by MRO / Tahsildar for claiming fee exemption.
