Kerala: Self financing medical colleges draw Admission Committee's ire

Kerala: Self financing medical colleges have indeed managed to make the admission supervisory committee ( ASC) after the Justice James led committee found that these colleges were not displaying the admission to management seats online. The ASC committee has not sought explantation from these colleges as to why they have not opened their websites to apply for admissions under the management quota.

This comes after the ASC received numerous complaints from the aspirants, parents in this matter.

As per the directive of ASC, colleges have to mandatory allow students to submit their applications. The prospectus along with the communication regarding the same had been provisionally approved and emailed to the respective colleges. The office of the ASC has also directly verified from the medical colleges about the receipt of the prospectus approval order. When the ASC monitored their websites, no one was active and available, as required, as per the directives dated August 4. With the violations now coming in sight, the ASC has clearly stated that any admission made without following the due procedure as well as prospectus conditions will not be approved and that the KUHS will be directed not to register such candidates, with their admissions being rejected after due enquiry.
