Kerala: Human body parts found in the compound of Malabar Medical College

Kozikhode: Panic spread on the campus of Malabar Medical College near Atholy, when human remains were discovered in the college compound on Thursday. The various body parts were found near the ladies hostel. Police from the Balussery police station has registered a case of unnatural death.

More body parts were recovered from the spot, in a later investigation of the area. According to information revealed by the police , the college authorities have admitted to the remains being those of a specimen used by them for academic purposes. The body was buried in the grounds of the compound, after the completion of study, stated the police.

The body parts were sent to Kozhikode Medical College Hospital for autopsy and further examination.
