Kerala Govt Medical Colleges reflect 678 vacant seats

Thiruvanathapuram: 604 self-financing and 74 government medical college seats continue to remain vacant after the 2^nd round of counselling.

Based on the student options submitted on Friday and Saturday through www.cee.kerala.gov.in the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE) will make fresh allotments.

The 9 government colleges offering 1,063 seats have managed to fill 989 within the stipulated time. 74 still remain vacant. Though Kozhikode, Kottayam and Thiruvananthapuram medical colleges have been filled to capacity.

11 self-financing colleges with a seat strength of 1250 have been able to allot 798 seats in the 2^nd round, however only 604 seats have been paid for by students.

The total vacancies left are 646 including 452 un-allotted seats.
