Karnataka: MCI debars two more government colleges for 2017-18

Bengaluru: The Medical Council of India(MCI), will not be recommending renewal of permission for Chamarajanagar Institute of Medical Sciences and Karwar Institute of Medical Sciences a report in Hindu points. Both are state run government medical colleges. They were supposed to admit the second batch of 150 seats each for the 2017–18 academic year.

Sharanprakash R. Patil, the Medical Education Minister, however struck an optimistic note to the Hindu saying, “They usually give us some more time for compliance and we will communicate with the MCI and do the needful.”

The Head of the institutions are the concerned persons . The National media should get the data either from the institution Head or from the MCI inspectors, or they can retreive data from the College Web site , as well as Concerned Health universities and MCI Web sites. If not through the RTI. Publishing / printing Inadequate, improper , incomplete information and highlighting the statements is a mere formality.Printing such statements rather than giving the True Facts and Figures . with assurances And empty promises no way beneficial for the Improvement of Medical education And Quality of patient care.
