Kannur Medical College admission cancellation will not to be reviewed: SC
New Delhi: The Supreme Court in response to a petition filed by students demanding petition review issued an order saying that it will not review its order cancelling admission to Kannur Self-financing Medical College this year.
The Supreme Court had cancelled admission to 30 seats in Palakkad Karuna Medical College and 150 seats in Kannur Medical College, withholding a high court order in this regard.
The students had moved court making a plea to allow them to pursue their studies, as the admission procedure was also- already on.
However, the court said under no circumstances was a review of the order possible. The apex court had cancelled the admissions on the basis that the management had accepted admissions on the basis of forged documents.
The bench comprising Justices Amit Roy and Arun Mishra made an oral observation that action should have been taken against the management reports Kaumudi online.
