    Jipmers Telemedicine facility for Mizoram
    Puducherry: Jawharlal Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education and Research (Jipmer) has launched Telemedicine Facility for Mizoram on Tuesday.

    According to a Jipmer statement, Dr Subhash Chandra Parija, Director, JIPMER launched the facility along with Deputy Commissioner of Lawngtlai District of Mizoram Dr Arun T, IAS and Prof Dr Ravi Kumar Chittoria Nodal Officer Telemedicine & IT Wing JIPMER.

    A MoU was signed between JIPMER Puducherry and District Hospital, Lawngtlai, Mizoram.

    This is the first Telemedicine Centre in Mizoram for sharing Health Education, Medical Education and Patient Care consultations.

    JIPMER has been in the forefront in implementing Govt.
