JIPMER MD,MS admissions 2018, Entrance Exam dates released

Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) is conducting JIPMER PG 2018 Entrance Exam on November 19, 2017. JIPMER PG (MD/MS) 2018 January Session application form has been released.

Eligible candidates can apply at jipmer.puducherry.gov.in.

Marking System:

4 marks awarded for every correct answer and 1 mark deducted for a wrong answer.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Must have completed MBBS degree along with the compulsory rotatory internship of one year


• Must have obtained a registration number from Medical Council of India or any State Medical Council


• Indian Nationals, Overseas citizens of India and Foreign Nationals are eligible to apply

Application Fee

JIPMER PG 2018 Application Form for January session is now available which is to be filled online from September 11, 2017 onwards. Online registration will close on October 18, 2017.

Exam Centres

The exam is expected to be conducted in 17 cities across the country. Applicants will be required to opt 3 cities as per their convenience while filling the application form and thus, allotment of centre will be done on the basis of first come first serve basis. Moreover, no request for the change of centre will be entertained.

Admit Card

Admit Card of JIPMER PG 2018 for January session will be made available online in November 2017. It must be downloaded by the candidates by entering their application number and password provided to them at the time of online registration.

Answer Key

JIPMER will not publish any answer Key of JIPMER PG 2018 as the entrance exam is conducted in online mode. Also, any other medical coaching institute will not publish the answer key.

Result

The result of JIPMER PG 2017 for January session will be announced in December 2018 while for July session, it will be declared in May 2018. Candidates can check their result by entering their application number and password. Moreover, JIPMER PG 2018 result will be released only for those candidates who qualify in the entrance exam, as per the prospectus.

Exam Cutoff

Merit List

Merit List will be based on percentile method and will include candidate’s name, All India Rank, marks obtained, etc. The validity of the merit list will only be until the current academic session.

Counseling

Counseling for January session will be conducted batch-wise in three rounds between December 13, 2017 and January 30, 2018. It will be conducted in offline mode at the University Campus, Puducherry.
